Five Roses Salento Negroamaro Blend Rosé

Sweet but dry and very refreshing. Totally opened my mind to the possibility that rose can be good.

On the nose, more concentration in the fruits. Black raspberries, raspberries, cherries, strawberries, watermelon, chewing gum and pink roses & florals. Palate is richer/thicker, more concentrated than the Masseria. Cherries, strawberries, watermelon, raspberries, well done chalkiness...not over done, fine medium intensity volcanic minerals with a rich, round, ripe, beautiful acid finish. Delicious.

Cranberry/currant on the nose, bizzare color, 1st sip raspberrish second taste apricot yet tart

Slammable 90%negromaro &10% black malvasia. The first rose from Italy imported to the states. A commendable & reputable producer. I want to try their Mona Lisa.

Tartness that hits the middle of the tongue and is almost Palate cleansing. Secondary salivation. Just the right sweetness and bright tart fruit
