Great shape with deep black cherry on the nose and a funk reminiscent of animal fur. Darker fruit from old vines that finishes long and soft. Exceptional for the price and drinking great for the age.

Nice suttle spice with a dry finish. Lacking complexity. Was great however with our nachos and spicy habanero sausage.

Multidimensional Mencia Bierzo that shows the mint -balsamic aromas along with the more okay flavors and blackcurrant notes. Full bodied without losing 'Bierzo Terroir ' focus

Vintage is 2012. Alcohol on nose. Tannic, dry and not much fruit. The guy at Costco talked us into it. We'd never had Menicia. Hmm?
