Brut Bosco di Gica Valdobbiadene Superiore Prosecco

A great example of the focus and concentration possible in high quality Prosecco from a Rive in the DOCG area. Adamo gives his wines much more time on the lees for autolysis pickup - quite dramatic for prosecco where it shows up more in the texture than on the nose. Beautiful apple, pear and lemon with striking minerality

Would never have guessed that this was a prosecco on the nose. Quite toasty and full style - must have spent some time on the lees. Also quite fruity for a prosecco. A very good drink indeed!

Pleasant. Dry with a slight saline note on the finish. A perfect foil for the frico.

Everything that I can think of to write about this excellent Prosecco seems to be derogatory towards the rest of the region. This wine is great, let's leave it at that.
