Aroma: cassis, coconut, oak, vanilla, spice and undergrowth. Perfect! Very old world taste with notes of dark fruits, berry, rasberrries, coffee and peppercorn. Amazing mouth feel with great balance and med acidity. Top value!

A serious over achiever. I'd be curious how many American steakhouse diners could distinguish in a blind tasting this bottle from Silver Oak - Alexander Valley.

A very nice, balanced Cabernet. Lovely red, spicy fruit with moderately soft and delicate tannins and lots of spicy red fruit and delicate toffee and caramel hints on the nose and finish. Very nice wine. Still relatively youthful. .

This is definitely the best California cab under $15. This vintage is particularly superb.

Red currant and blackberry fruit, with cocoa, dill, vanillin, and toasted coconut. Racy and brisk. Even in less challenging vintage the barrel aging is overt on this wine, but perhaps it's acidity is refreshing.

A blend of 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Petite Sirah & 3% Merlot. Very dark Ruby with aromas of dark Berry fruit and spice. On the palate cherry and blackberry flavors with cedar and herb spice. Good balance with acidity, firm approachable tannins, medium length finish, drink now no aging potential. Good value. Tasting Sample.

2012 is the year to get if you can find it. 2013 is good as well, but 2012 is so much better
