Sourced from several of their single vineyards on Alexander Mountain, Bordeaux blend, 54% merlot. 12 months, 1/3 new French oak. Altitude of grapes is immediately apparent. Fruit is dark ripe and almost floral with fine grained tannins. With a rewarding interplay of dark chocolate, ground coffee, and savory bay leaf on the palette.
