This is the best bottle of the 2012 abbey ridge rouge I’ve tasted. They all taste different. Some bottles are fantastic and others are kind of funky. These Cameron’s are better when they are young. As they age the fruit mellows out and the funk takes over.

I enjoyed this as much as the 2003. Cameron Pinot has a cool funkiness on the nose with plenty of red fruits that carry to the palate. Lean tannins and good acidity will give the '05 a number of good years left in the cellar.
