Oh my. Drinking perfectly right now. Nutty and rich with still an amazing amount of lift and acidity. The best domestic sparking that I know of!!

The first of a great line up of wines at SingleThread Restaurant in Healdsburg (CA).

Those guys in my opinion are worthy of 3 stars when the Michelin guide will release their official US ratings next week.

As for the wine - one of the best domestic sparklers I've ever had!

Nice floral nose. Crisp apple and tart on the palate.

Perfect after a day of Regatta racing on the Monterey bay. Fresh, crisp with a touch of yeast. Nice family owned Chard and Pinot Noir specialist in Carmel.

Blind, I would have guessed Sparkling Chardonnay from Burgundy or maybe Champagne in a ripe year. A pleasant and unparalleled CA sparkling experience. Showing that old cornflakey side of aged bubbles.

Hell to the yeah! Hazelnuts and golden apple, with amazing acidity. Hope to be able to taste this again in another few years.

Can never can get enough! 60% Chardonnay/40 % Pinot. Could use even more time.
