Langhe Nebbiolo

A change in direction with the 2018 version of this wine: bright, fresh, floral and almost Grignolino-like. Lots of little strawberries and cherries. Took a chill nicely, and the chill pointed the acidity and brought the whole thing together.

All the good Nebbiolo stuff you want- tea rose, spice box and raspberry- with a freshness and gulpable quality that almost make it chillworthy. The genius in this wine is that you can drink it with pleasure after a day of tasting A-list Barolo. #nebbiolo #langhe #germano

Ruby red trailing to pink. Dry with a nice blend of tannins and acidity. Hints of sour cherry and red raspberry. Some notes of baseball glove with a pleasant peppery finish. Paired excellently with Johnny Marzetti.
