First time tasting Carmenere and I have to say I'm very pleased. Beautiful deep rich hue with some great depth of colour. On the nose some very vegetative and minty characteristics, with some dark cherry notes. That green vegetative character comes through on the palate, with some of that dark cherry flavour to back it up. Even though there is lots of flavour I think this wine would benefit for a couple more years in the bottle. Would be great with some spicy meaty dish

Deep purple red. Blackberry coffee beans and black pepper. Raspberry and mocha. Easy drinking wine. Peppery finish. Not super dry. Medium bodied
