Waited too long? Depends what you like from your Nouveau. This has moved from big fruit to: tea, dried cranberry, dried herbs, sage, stems, dried leaves, medium tannins and nice acid. Fun trying this as a different monster 3-years later. Had with salmon, worked nicely.

It’s been fun comparing the Domaine Dupeuble - to the Duboeuf the Duboeuf is nice with the black cherry but the Dupeuble - gamey cherry cool-aide has some Gamay character
