One of the most complex wines on earth sherry is not appreciated by many here in the states.

Good for the money. Really interesting what a year in bottle does: Amontillado-oid. Would I be correct to call this Manzanilla Pasada?

A wow! Wine. Briny, salty, sea filled,
N: Old Boats, salt, citrus, vanilla, yeast, straw, pungency! Dried caramel.
P: Such a blast ! Dried seaweed, brine, orange peel, vanilla in the background.
Mouth completely engaged.

The Pasadas are a particular favorite of mine. Funkier manzanilla, and with a heavy winter coat of flor, even more.
N:Salt water taffy, salt water, almonds, while flowers.
P: Bone dry, achingly so, not even a hint of wood, all seashore grass and pith. Hinting at fruit. All it’s own.

N: Oranges, vanilla, the sea, old boats, docks, lacquer.
P: Lots of acidity, tense wooden notes,
Peaches(as if dried), lemons, so refreshing and seemingly ancient.
Marvelous stuff.
