Big aromatics typical of '13, red cherry, slight cough drop, cinnamon note, high acid, moderate tannins, pomegranate, cranberry, and bright red cherry on the palate. Very nice.

2021 vintage. Medium body. Expressive nose. As always, plenty of blue fruit in attendance. A bit smoother than expected, yet still rocking. 1.10.24.

Super tart. Cranberry, underripe cherry, underripe strawberry, and fresh raspberry. Medium bodied, low tannin, medium alcohol, high acid, and a long finish. Definitely a clean expression of the grape, but I’d prefer a little more post-fermentation aging and maybe a bit more oak barrel exposure. In any event, this 2019 is too young to drink. Give it a couple more years in the bottle.

2015 vintage. Black cherry and some blue fruits with substantial fine tannins that need time to resolve. Upside potential, but this needs time before we can see where this goes.
