High acidity unfiltered Pinot with low sugar. Cranberries and strawberries back up some light stone fruits. Young and needing a couple of years in the cellar.

I HAD to try it. Pinot Noir grapes from the slopes of Mauna Loa. It is very close to a grape juice, the tannins are saving it. But no one will unfortunately be sad that, as the label says, it is "for sale in Hawaii only".

Leave it to me to drive us 2 hours from a beach to try local Hawaiian wine. The drive was lovely, the wine not so much.
