What a treat!!! Not available in the U.S., but a wine club member brought it in to share, thanks Jay.

On its own it would have been just fine, but next to its big brother, the Grand Vin du Castel, it did pale a little. Enjoyable and very drinkable wine, but lacking the depth and complexity of the Grand Vin. Will also benefit from a few more years of bottle age.

Good with lamb. The petit verdot is over powering.
