Lacked complexity, but adequate

Very lively and dynamic with good fruit and ripeness without heavy oak. A nice change of pace from some of the bruisers offered from Spain. Food friendly.

Pairs well (acidic), a strong mineral finish. Might mellow with age?

2014. Sweeter than I imagined and than most other tempranillo

Lacked depth required for a Tempranillo

Full of fruits - blueberries, black currant etc. - with mild notes of oak.

Soil scent. Dark fruit with a little floral something. Some tannins but doesn't make your tongue curl. Good before dinner and with pasta
