Les Vergers Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Chardonnay

Off the Frasca list in Boulder. Light gold, heavy in the glass. Petrol nose, in a good way. Also notes of pit fruit, lemon creme, river stone and some spice. In the mouth, rich fruit and good but not overpowering acidity. Had the Somm put this in a decanter an hour before we touched it. The last sip hours later was the best. Improved and grew more complex. Reminded me of a young Coche. Really good showing for a young burg.

Still super young but very delicious. Racy, lemony, vibrant but also plenty of viscosity on the mid palate to keep you coming back for more.

Med gold. Heavy in the glass. Beautiful nose of apricot, lemon, Asian spice and stone. Rich and round in the mouth. Glycerol. Maybe a slight bit advanced for an 04 but it means this is in a good drinking window right now. Outperformed expectations

Nice to see a change in the sulphur regimen.

Best bottle yet... clean and pure

Tasty been drinking over 2 days.... at first a drinking wine but as it sits a more complex wine. Acidity is in a good place... apply lime minerality

Its like marry it off your last daughter. You're proud to see her go to someone you respect but at the same time you wish she would never leave. What epic Chardonnay.

Macerated brown pear, lemon/lime juice, underripe green apple, pineapple juice, dry crushed rocks, good chalkiness, acidity and finish.

Something was off about this bottle... cork fell in... was a bit to lemony never evolved... so different from the past ones we've had... hopefully tomorrow is different
