Deeper red and black fruited pinot. Very satisfying if a little high acid and unresolved bitterness on the finish, for now. I expect those elements to play out nicely with a few more years of bottle age.

The first 2015 St. Innocent I’ve tasted yet and it is outstanding as always. This young Pinot Noir from Eola-Amity is showing lots of dark berry and savory spice character while the tannins are typically present. Vanilla, licorice, black raspberry and sweet floral notes also emerging, and with more aeration there is an unmistakable umami impression of soy sauce, gravel and potting soil. A most cellar-worthy wine at a cool 13.5% ABV that is just beginning to reveal its complexity.

Vivid ruby-red. Vibrant mineral- and spice-accented aromas of fresh dark berries, cherry cola and candied rose develop a hint of incense with air. Shows excellent clarity and depth on the palate, where sappy black raspberry, cherry compote and floral pastille flavors are complemented by hints of spicecake and vanilla. Finishes impressively long and sweet, offering sneaky tannins and strong, spicy persistence. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, Dec 2016)

Another great 2012. Touch of earth, mushroom, orange peal. Bright acidity. Good when you open it, but decant and it gets to be incredible.

The most complete and beautiful st innocent wine I have had to date. Texture, acid and all kinds of fresh fruit. A baby in its evolution but many long years ahead

Good bones, needs a little more flesh to lengthen out the palate some...drink up!

Beautiful light Ruby color followed by an orange hue on the rim. Hints of spice and red fruits on the nose with no signs of new oak. Very lovely and enjoyable on the palate with over ripe dark strawberry.

More pencil and earth than fruit but secondary cherry and strawberry notes. Lush and round mouth feel. Clean and well balanced

Some really lovely, complex secondary notes on this well-evolved St. Innocent Temperance Hill Pinot Noir 2005. Dusty earth, pie cherry, cranberry relish, and candied orange peel, and hints of dried roses. The oak has fully integrated at this point, and the balance struck by this classic Willamette Valley Pinot is rather lovely. It's medium-bodied, with fine tannins and poised acidity that culminates with rose hips and tart cherry notes.
