Saturated ruby. Oak-spice-accented black/blue fruit aromas pick up hints of vanilla and cured tobacco with air. Plush and broad on the palate, offering subtly sweet cassis and cherry flavors underscored by a vein of juicy acidity. Supple tannins build through a long, pliant finish that leaves cherry preserve, vanilla and cracked pepper notes behind. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, December 2020)

Striking a suave balance of power and finesse, this Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon evokes ripe dark fruits, with a woodsmoke nuance in the background. There’s impressive depth of flavor here and smooth, even tannins that frame a long, focused finish. Drink now or cellar it with confidence. $16.00(Josh Raynolds, Vinous, September 2018)

This single-vineyard Paso Cab puts forth the distinctive terroir of Margarita Vineyard quite well. A focused fruit-and-mineral balance on the nose shows the effect of the uplifted seabed while cigar box, leather and smoke exemplify the two years of oak. The palate is suitably dark for the serious tannic structure it accompanies. Cassis, plum, licorice and a long, fine finish are a delight. Well worth the money. Well worth much more.

Cassis, plum, black currant, a little pruning in finish. Soft silty tannins and a fine vein of acid (dk if it's from elevation or proximity to ocean). A lifted, restrained example of central CA cs

Good fruit and pretty good for California Cab, not over the top just right touch of everything.

Really nice lower abv, for paso, new world style cabernet for $19. Worth trying if you can find it for less than $20. Drink it young.
