A really fun wine. Soft red fruit, balanced integrated tannin. Good wine from an unexpected region

Ever had a wine from Wisconsin??? Well, there is a first for everything, and this was one for me. A very light bodied Pinot. But still very vibrant acidity and just a slight earthy, dusty notes. Not bad. Fun actually. As the world is warming up, who knows, Wisconsin might become the next Napa…..nah.

Lovely burgundian-style Pinot Noir with smooth, elegant tannin. Balanced nicely with fruit and a lovely lingering finish.

In o'hare lounge back to London. A bit sweet. Light bodied. Spicy. Dry mouth after sip.

I had low expectations when pouring this wine. It was available in the Chicago airport BA lounge. It is actually very pleasant. Light with ripe red cherry and cranberry flavours with an underlying vanilla and cream tone. Great to try a relatively local wine and even better that it's good.

Smooth oak notes and a great nose; lingering fruit notes that delight on the tongue.
