Ex Anima Monterey Syrah

6 months in neutral oak. Light and a little earthy. Delightful and would be great on a hat patio with a nice chill.

Chainsaw tannins! Smoky! Dense. DIFFERENT! I love it

Deep purple, teeth stainer but tremendous from first swig. Earthy, berries, plum, chocolate, had with rare grilled cheeseburgers, corn on the cobb, green salad with pomegranate, cranberries, flax seed with vinaigrette dressing. Wine was perfect for this late summer meal.

Don't think it's defective but it has a sharp pungent aroma on top. A whirl reveals a bunch of fruit and some savory earthy tones. In the mouth it's dry and oaky with perfume through the whole finish. If it isn't defective it's surely not something I like. Gonny try and get a new bottle.

Leathery, chewy, spicy and satisfying.

Heavy tobacco and leather

Sam thought it was ok. I thought it sucked. I'd get my money back if I could. Aged in steel barrels. Must have been turds in there too.
