Hot yellow raisin in hazelnut oil, raw spaghetti squash, warm watermelon rind, linseed oil, pine nettle, juniper nose. Creamy squash on brioche, not a pronounced acidity here, but the fat isn't the typical pit-fruit travesty either, although it has a resonance that suggests apricot oil. It's bodyweight suggests a salinity but it finishes amarula and papaya. Worked with a clean, asian-inspired steel-cut, mushroom and hempfu comfort meal.

Loin de l'oeil was new varietal for me but I thought it was quite good, especially at this price point. Nice blend with the SB.

Really enjoyed this herbal French SB. Bright and citrusy but not overly strong. Notes of cut grass and herbs. Great price point from ABC.
