Top Notes For
Sipping Fine Wine

Deep Ruby with aromas of red fruits, cedar and earthy spice. On the palate flavors of cherry and raspberry with toasty notes, tea and cinnamon spice. Full-bodied, fine texture and tannins, long finish ending with juicy fruit and spicy character.

It is a dark wine, and the nose is very expressive. Blackberry, cassis, vanilla, tea and a slight brambly note are present. On the palate, savory cola and oak spice get into the act, while the tannins are firm, but not overly so. The dark fruit is there, but the savory aspect of the flavor profile definitely leads the way. Have a juicy filet with this one - they deserve each other.

Vibrant pop of cherries, cassis. Medium to full. Sustains well. Juicy and food friendly. Enjoyed with a lovely roast chicken!

A winery that never disappoints! Elegant fruits and structure that is balanced across the palette.

This has a nice nose of cherries and blackberries. Drinking this wine is sort of unique to me. It drinks like a bigger red wine but has lightness and finesse of pinots. I know it sounds odd but it has this weird balance of big and bold with the subtle beauty of great Pinot. Drinking it you get more cherries and boysenberry with touches of leather and spice. I think there is a nice mix of acid and tannins in this wine. The finish on this lingered nicely. Overall it is a tremendously enjoyable glass of wine.

Really love Merry Edwards Pinots! There Estate just wasn't our favorite. Needs a little more time.
