Ruby with berry fruit, fragrant spice and earthy floral notes. On the palate flavors of sour cherry, raspberry, vanilla and tobacco with notes of pepper spice and tangy mineral feel. Fine tannins, medium+ savory finish ending with tobacco and cacao wrapped in an earthy spice character. Tasting Sample!

A great wine but not a great brunello. Missing the electricity but carries all the right notes.

A pleasant, well balanced 2011 with bright, red fruit and fresh acidity, rare in 2011.

Very nice entry level Brunello bought at Costco. Garnet with slight bricking at edges. Elegant dark fruit and slight spice on nose. Plums blackberries clove and cinnamon on palate with underlying earthy basil and bark. Slight kick of dry tannins at the finish. Peaked after about 3 hours of slow ox.

Ok, much better after it breathes for longer than normal.
