Notes of an earthy fruit laden forest floor this Gewürztraminer is strong on lychee & honeysuckle. Medium body and acidity, though drinking at 5 years it held up pretty well for a Gewürz. Follows through on the toungue with muted peach and apricot almond, oily crisp finish. 3.8/8.9

Medium lemon color, with soft aromas of stone fruits and perfumed notes. On the palate apple and peach flavors with honey and gentle toasty spicy notes, elegant and fresh. Medium finish with pleasant ending enhancing the smoky character. Drinking well now, will age a bit more. Tasting Sample.

Mid Gold - a very developed colour. Aromas of Apricot and sugared glacé fruits. On the palate Apricot and cumquat flavours. Palate is saved by a nice finish of acid, but just hanging on. Started developing quickly in the glass. An interesting drink but thankfully my last bottle.

Lemon and lime zest, heavy petrol, ginger, chamomile and jasmine. Oily and rich texture, great acidity.

2016 is quite intense. Raging fruit, lovely florals. Hint of botrytis, but not at all overbearing. Meyer lemon,
apricot, lychee and a faint sweetness. Thyme, pine needles and ginger coming through on the nose. Lots of gorgeous Alsatian character and enormous, full-throttle palate presence. It should be mentioned that these wines are not compromising, crafted in the traditional manner and require fairly weighty food to compliment their inherent richness and intensity.
