Had to come back after my first sip to decide whether I liked it—and at that point it hit me it wasn’t memorable. Objectively the alcohol is well integrated, it consistently reminds you it’s fruit profile is dark, desiccated, and sun-drenched, and isn’t on the tannic offense. It could, however, use some more acid.

Bright red stone fruit, wet granite, and grippy tannins make for a pleasant dinner sipper. Seems like it is heavy in Grenache (on the lighter side color and weight wise). Worth a whirl or two :)

On the nose I'm getting blackberry, BBQ potato chips, smoked meat, dark cherry candy. Body is nicely balanced/smooth, med+ body. Very nice wine.
