Fabulous. Perfumed and fragrant with earthy, dark Chambertin fruit. Sumptuous and smooth with resonant acidity.

'98 vintage. What a beauty! A true ballet dancer, this wine is an absolute jewel of delicacy, elegance and grace. The purity of the nose is of epic proportions with beautiful red berries, black tea and light touches of anis. After an hour or so, spices emerge from the glass, cedar, incense and light camphor (or warm eucalyptus). Mouthfeel is delicious as well, full of balance, bright acidity and a persistent ripe black cherry flavor. I loved this wine! A true foodie wine!

Excellent Pinot with scrumptious earth tones, dark fruit, rub spices, and some leather. Bouquet of vanilla and cola. Nice persistence in mouth with a refreshing acidity. Silky tannins and should have some more lifespan.
