2012 in Oregon reminds me of issues I have with 2009 in Burgundy. No denying this is constructed exquisitely. Weightless while dense. But cola, sweet brown spices dominate. At 13.1% I can't help but imagine what this would be like at 12.5% and less new oak. I'm sure 2013's here will be brighter and more down my alley.
