Medium bodied with medium plus acidity and crisp.
Sweet on the palate with citrus, lemons, honey, red apples, melons, tropical fruits, star fruit, passion fruit, spices and white pepper.
Short finish with lemons and spices.
This is a nice German Gewurztraminer from Pfalz. Well balanced and simple. Easy drinking and good for parties.
A good wine with spicy foods like Thai food or spicy Indian food. I paired it with a cheese plate (soft goat cheeses) and crackers.

Valckenberg - Gewürztraminer -2011- Qualitatswein - Austria Full body - acidity medium - Aromas/Flavors: Rose, peach, litchi - Deceived by the floral aromas not strong enought to my taste. Prefers Alsacian Gewürztraminer !

Sharp, floral, fruity aromas. Deep gold hue. Medium dry leaning sweet. Peach, rose. Pretty vibrant flavors and high âcid. Pairing with curry.

2020 vintage. Lemon in color. On the nose it had medium intensity. Off dry with medium acidity, low alcohol, medium bodied. Taste of bananas, white pepper, peach, lychee A medium+ finish. Overall the acidity and sweetness balanced well. Would rate as a very good wine.
