Falco Peregrino Bosco Falconeria Sicilia Catarratto

Dark gold color, caramel water, honey on the nose, dry on the palate, start fruit, unripe apricot and peach. All spice and nutmeg. Med acidity, med body. Easy drinking wine.

Orange wine from Sicily made of the Cataratto variety, no sulfur added, only 11% alcohol, hazy, you know the drill… Thankfully this is a nice example of the rowdy nature wines. Clean, fresh with plentiful of apple fruit over a reasonable funky background. The astringency from the tannins is in the right place. However, the wine is a bit light footed and short on the finish. Overall a pleasant encounter though.

Good acids, telltale deep yellow, dark fruit tones, some brown spice. Spot on.

A long hebacious and floral character

Very good orange wine, 100% Catarratto grapes. Apricot and peach notes; smooth and easy to drink,

Low acid, heavy body, sweet, dry, floral, short finish.

Cool orange wine from Mount Etna - completely natural wine- smoky balsamic

Some skin contact so a fun color. This is a really cool fun but complex white/orange wine with nice balance. Not overly funky/natty but enough of that to satisfy me. Great with food cuz they know what they’re doing in sicily.
