Sweet strawberry nose with stemmy freshness. Smooth, linear but firm, firm tannins and a distinctly Burg vibe. Could get better, but very enjoyable, refined.

So velvety. I think it will continue to develop and gain complexity. #pghwinefestival

Abbott Claim is a single vineyard in the Yamhill-Carlton District. Ruby with floral & spicy aromas. Dark fruit and plum flavors on the palate with spices and mineral notes. Medium finish soft tannins ending with berry fruit and earthy tones. Much better than the ‘12 vintage I tasted.

Good but For $60 the wine needed a bit more zing, I have another bottle tucked away and I will open in a year or two.

Insanely complex cherry, raspberry, cranberry, strawberry jam, toasted marshmallows, velvety tannins, medium + acid.
