Kabinett Riesling

Perfect time to drink this lovely kabinett. Gained in weight with a few hours and turned into something really nice. Dark orange fruit, diesel and quince on the nose. Really delightful. Happy Greek Easter

Half dry - baked apple - petrol - rubber - nutty 2004 - golden- oldest Riesling I’ve ever had.

Bought it in February 2015 during snowboard trip to Austria, and recently bought 2015 vintage replacement. Drink 2012 now - got more body, fruit is bolder, color become pale golden. Nice kerosene smell, it's dry and mineral, on palate candied lemon and crispy but ripe green apple and ripe pear, nuances of tropical fruits like 🍍,

Citrus, sweeter than expected but depth that makes it worthwhile. Astringent, reminds of a grown up Vinho verde.

The 2006 had at NOLA

Fresh, a sweetened citrus flavor.

Caramelized honey (?!) on white grapefruit - the latter astringency giving structure. Would be curious to revisit this 2006 vintage in five years

Vino muy afrutado, poco acido. Verdaderamente interesante

Great wine for the rest of a fish based dinner. Crisp, yet sweet, bringing a little acid to the dishes.
