Amazing Brunello '09. Silky smooth, brick color showing. Great mineral-driven nose with black olives. Tastes incredible, pairs excellently with tomato-based dishes. My wife said it was a "highway by which the flavors of the meal were transported into her." I'll have to have her write my stuff more often.

Clean, med acid, med+ tannin, med+ ABV, full body, black fruit, black berry / plum, red fruit, raspberry, cherry. Herbal, oregano, bay leaf. Long tannin driven finish. Good quality, drink now but can age.
