Color is a very deep purple, looking like one of those wines you're going to be cautious with spillage, likely a permanent stainer.

Nose is still tight, giving up dark berry fruits and green pepper right now. (Update, vegetal/methoxypyrazine aromas have dissipated, loads of black fruits are flowing out of the glass.)

Palate is all blackberry, black cherry and sweet blueberry, tannins are quite gentle.

I'm expecting some improvement as we gain more air time tonight. BTW $12, this wine's a steal, I always love finding budget wines that really deliver!

Very fruity. Red and black berries all mashed up together. While it needs a chill, the wine bar I was out served it downright cold. 🙄

Slightly acidic at first but after a short decanter it’s very smooth. Tastes of currant and raspberry.

Almost too fruit forward, like an amarone and a zin had a baby. New world styled

macerated blk berries.. ripe round tannins. med plus acid

Incredibly good Amarone style that tastes like it should have cost significantly more than $15!served it with a pasta dish with Italian sausage, spinach, tomatoes, Parmesan and Mozzarella cheeses and it paired perfectly.

Grapefruit notes. Would pair well with a scallop pasta.

Perfect with pizza!

Delicious $15 bottle, drinks like a $40 bottle. Similar to Mara.
