Fresh, pure and transparent - kind of liking 2011 whites from Burgundy.

Notes from La Paulee 2023 in NYC. [This is a tasting note for Antoine Jobard Beaune 1er cru Epenottes 2020 as no entry exists, sorry for parking it here!] 2020 is the second vintage of this Beaune red of Antoine Jobard. Spicy and juicy red plum. Slightly sulphuric/Brett? Red cherry, purple flowers, pomegranate, blueberry. Med++ finish on red cherry. Med+ acidity.

Bitterness first. Acidic, sour, a bit clear taste. Then, feel lemon flavor.

More peach than green apple. Points toward oak and is more approachable that way. I had guy amiot right before and liked it better because it was more Burgundy to me but I can see how this grape could be enjoyed in more ways thanks to this wine.
