Cos Pés Riax-Baixas Albariño

Vineyard is on the Atlantic Ocean with granite soils, apparently phylloxera resistant, run by the Mendez family. 50% of whole bunches are fermented in stainless along with skins for 2 months, after fermentation the wine is macerated with the skins in vats of used oak for 12 months, creating interesting wine. Golden yellow with aromas of ripe fruits, honey and minty notes. On the palate apple, apricot & honey with some bread dough notes. Lingering with good acidity and balance, unlike any $15 Albariño.

A bit bitter

Deep amber color and discreet nose of orange peel, lavender and yellow beets. High acidity, becoming length and good structure with aromas of dried apricot, turnip and sea.

Amazing skin contact Spanish wine. Very floral on nose but with some body and texture. Deep orange color. Definitely varnish on nose but delicious on palate

Beautiful, full and rich but with a saline, smoky edge to it. Brilliant and hugely individual wine. Ace

Perfect food wine, floral notes with textured finish and decent length.

Бледно-оранжевый цвет. Слабая чайная заварка, комбуча, абрикос, печёное яблоко, бледный апельсин, кедр, оливковое масло, подсыхающая трава, фантомная минеральность, тонкий дрожжевой тон. Среднее тело с ощутимой кислотностью. Во вкусе уживаются солнечная сладость фрукта и сменяющая её слегка жгучая сухость. Чуть жарко, выразительно и самостоятельно, с хорошим тонусом, но немного поверхностно, без большой глубины. Ещё молодо.

Color oro, nariz intensa, citrico amargo, nineral. En boca salino, acidez u muy largo. Riquísimo.
