Dark ruby in color with a wide ruby rim.

Strong nose of black currants, cherries, sweet raspberries, tobacco, peppercorn, chocolates, graphite, dark coffee, vinaigrette, vanilla, oak, light mold, black tea, bitter herbs and spices.

Full bodied and smooth with medium acidity and nice legs.

Dry on the palate with black currants, bell pepper, cherries, oak, vanilla, cloves, spices, smoke, graphite, tobacco leaf, bitter herbs, black tea, coffee, river rocks and black pepper.

Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cranberries..

This is a great GSM blend from Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Showing great complexity and mouthfeel.

This 9 year old needs 2 hours to open up properly, and wasn't good right out of the bottle. I had this vintage six years ago, and boy did it change. Drinking very nicely now. Delicious actually.

Good by itself or with food. I paired it with a Charcuterie board of meats, cheeses, pickled vegetables and fresh grapes.

A blend of 40% Grenache, 30% Syrah and 30% Mourvedre.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

93 points.

$50 (current vintage).

Ruby in color with a wide reddish/ brick rim.

Light to medium in body with medium plus acidity and nice legs.

Nose of bing cherries, blueberries, wood, earth, vanilla, coffee, wet leaves, herbs, earth, vegetables, graphite and spices.

Dry and tangy on the mid palate with cherries, strawberries, red currants, oak, smoke, tobacco leaf, spices, graphite, bitter herbs, black tea, earth, dark chocolates, coffee, peppercorn, wood, wet leaves and bitter vegetables.

Medium finish with soft tannins and peppercorn.

This is a nice Châteauneuf-du-Pape from a great vintage. Would benefit from another 5 to 10 years of bottle time. Spicy and tangy with a lighter mouthfeel than I expected.

Not fully balanced yet, but enjoyable already. Needs a couple of hours to open up properly and show some tannins.

I paired it with meats, cheeses and olives.

A blend of 40% Grenache, 30% Syrah and 30% Mourvedre. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

Mousset family has managed Clos Saint Michel for more than 6 decades, in Southern Rhône they have been active in wine for Much longer. Deep Ruby with aromas of red fruits and sweet spicy notes. On the palate black cherry and ripe blackberry flavors with vanilla and black pepper spice. Big firm tannins, nicely integrated, good balanced, long finish with solid ending. Tasting Sample.

Original farmhouse on the property predates the ownership by Mousset family by several decades. Deep Ruby with concentrated aromas of red fruits and smoky notes. On the palate black raspberry and black cherry flavors with licorice and herb spice. Rustic tannins, good balanced, long finish with herb spice and fruit ending. Tasting Sample.

Managed by the Mousset family since the 1950’s. Deep Ruby with aromas of red fruits some smoke and flint. On the palate strawberry and cherry flavors with a bit of preserves and exotic rustic spices, well balanced. Long finish with complex ending of meaty mineral character. Tasting Sample.
