A lighter weight Pinot from Russian River. Plum cranberry are what speaks to me the most. Nose is not as distinctive as my benchmark RR experiences.

I find stuff like this super interesting. This is a wine that was certainly never made to age this long and it was probably a little past it’s prime but there was a surprising amount of fruit left in the wine and everything was well balanced. This was a well made wine that was most likely stunning just a few years earlier.

Bright Ruby with aromas sweet red berry fruits and spice. On the palate cherry and strawberry flavors with vanilla notes, sweet oak and hint of spice. Fine tannins on a lingering finish ending a bit savory. Good value.

Light ruby-orange color; surprisingly rich full nose of ripe red fruit, mostly strawberry, and complex aromas of earth, diesel, rubber, acetone, and dried black fruit; delicious on the palate with mouthwatering high acids, silky fine tannins, and a tight precise finish. Wow!

Beautiful Burgundy color. Mushroom and red apple nose. Like farm-to-table cherry cola on the palate. Very nice.

Truly stunning. After a weekend of exceptional burgundy and old rochioli this is a revelation. Dark fruit hay and a finish for days...so unexpected

This Pinot is from the Russian River Valley, one of the first AVA's I really fell in love with for well made Pinot Noir. This example doesn't disappoint. A very nice Burgundian made Pinot. Ruby red in color with aromas giving off hints of cherries, raspberries, with hints of camp fire. There is a velvety mouth feel, cola, strawberries, spice, and a nice minerality. Nice effort from DeLoach Vineyards. I would definitely recommend this wine.

I wasn't too impressed with this. Too bad though, they usually do well with Russian River reds, especially their Zins. This was a bit bland and had a very sharp acidic finish. $17.99 / 86pts
