This is just what I needed after a long day at work. Full bodied, dark ruby red in color with tastes of blackberry and plum. A little bit of a smoky taste but has a nice long finish. I love a wine that makes my mouth water.

Celebrating an early Christmas with my parents since we won’t be with them on the 25th 🎄
Black pepper, spiced cherries, worn leather, pipe tobacco, and stewed plums. Pretty good.

$35 at total wine. Nose: bright red cherry, black cherry, slight cola, beach ball after breathing. Taste: red and blackcherry, unripened black berry, slight tobacco, plack pepper, oaked finish.

A bit disappointed with this Syrah from the folks at Bacci, as I hold their other wines in high regard. Extremely strong alcohol smell and a bit rough around the edges despite the long finish. Tannins impossible to ignore. Perhaps needs at least 2 hrs decanting to soften. Would benefit from a few years of aging at least.

Feb 23rd, 2020Always solid. Drinks like a super Tuscan blend instead of the 100% syrah it is. If you aren't normally a fan of syrah, make sure to give this a shot, you wont be disappointed.
