'Dirty Boots' Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon
This drinks like Haut-Medoc, but more fruit. Crazy the similarities that Margaret River has in common with Bordeaux, none of the jammy dark quality you get from South Central Australia. Cedar, pepper, smoke, cranberries, dark cherries - medium bodied, elegant tannins, and a slight jammy fruit complex. The layers of complexity are very subtle, but there. Not my favorite, but I am quite interested in their Chardonnay.. stay tuned.
