Great again. Super light in color but fully loaded and very subtle. Still young but throwing a bunch of sediment (out of 375ml) exceptional with the bolivar cuban stick.

Notes of cinnamon, nutmeg and spice with red cherry, sandalwood and tobacco. Ready to drink or cellar for many more years. Port to pair with our chocolate cupcakes with chocolate frosting. This bottle is a 375ml. It's flows onto the palate with; brown sugar, molasses, maple syrup, toffee, nuts with skin, butterscotch, figs, dates, prunes, raisins, burnt toast, orange peel liqueur, Drambuie, a touch of the long finish of scotch, crumbled minerals, high acidity & sugar with an elegant, lush finish that rolls on and on. Gotta love old vintage Port! Even in 375ml, this port has at least 15-20 years of life ahead of it. If you find yourself in Portugal, get to the houses in Porto and try Taylor Fladgate's Scion last...a perfect 10! Have it last because after you taste it, you won't want anything else. Only available at the Taylor house in Porto. It's a 165+ years old...from pre-phylloxera vines. What are your memories from 1990?

Champagne to start, claret with the beef & port with the cheese makes for a happy boy- add four of the loveliest wine pro ladies to the guest list and it is almost to much! This is the best Quinta port I have had, big, rooty and still full of dark sweet fruit. The wine had the acid to balance out the size, and the grace notes to pair perfectly with old cheddar, Cotswold and Point Reyes Blue. What a night of wines!
