This was quite nice when it had a chance to open up a bit. Leather, cigar, and dark stone fruits on the nose. Dry and tannic with a medium body. Dark cherry on the front that becomes more like plum with leather on the long finish.

Blueberries and smoke. Not the smoothest wine sans food, but still showing the New York can indeed make red wines that can age gracefully.
