Pinot noir is the king for a reason. This is a very nice example. A bit more pepper than expected.

The winery's roots date back to 1969 in a small area known as Carneros. Light Ruby with aromas of red fruits and floral spice. On the palate cherry and strawberry flavors with sweet herbs, balanced acidity and fine tannins. The finish is medium and ends with earthy tones.

Light, clean, and varietally correct, with a bit much vanilla, but such is life.

Nice body. Clean. Good balance of fruit and slight black pepper finish.

Boysenberry and cinnamon candy on the nose. Tart cranberry upfront with a hint of basil. Lots of retro nasal heat.

Respectable value #northcoast #pinotnoir from a historic winery in a more elegant style. Cherry, rose petals, medium light body, juicy acidity, touch of pepper and commendably restrained oak with light tannins.

This was a subtle wine but very tasty. I really enjoy this wine. My current palette is for Pinot's so I wouldn't recommend it for those who drink Cab's. I feel like this is a great wine for those who just started drinking wine and are not looking for the strength of a Cab.
