Trying next to the 2013 Caymus Cab shows that this beauty is a Bordeaux style Blend. This 2010 needed air time. Great structure and body. Drinks like a Great Bordeaux. Totally opposite to the Caymus House Style. Very Impressive

Dry with earth and hints of floral. Not my preference.

60% Franc, 25% Merlot, 10% Cab, 5% Malbec. Smooth with a little Brett (in a good way). Very friendly

Very Pauillac. Blackcurrant, pencil lead, cedar, iodine, wet clay, and clove, with a pervasive sweet vegetable and tea leaf that gives this so much character.

Was not expecting this! 54% Merlot, 34% Cab Franc and 12% Cab. Burnt orange 🍊 and matchstick fill the nose. Plum, currant and meaty element fill the mouth. Enticing finish.

Lovely herbal, cocoa and savory notes that push through the ripe plum and raspberry. Elegant but by no means lightweight.

Really dig this. Definitely some old world flair, great expression of Sonoma.
