Bérêche & Fils
Vieilles Vignes Sélectionnées Millésimé Brut Champagne
Hitting its stride. Could have held this much longer. Toasted apples and mineral. 2005.

Feb 1st, 2018Bereche et Fils has become a favorite grower Champagne of mine, thanks to a generous friend who always seems to have it on hand, the 2005 Brut Milléime Vieilles Sélectionnées is no exception. I'm always impressed by the depth and complexity Bereche possesses—the nose is quite lush with brioche notes, orchard fruits, dried pineapple, candied orange peel and honey. On the palate, it's elegant, powerful and intense. There is a sensual and expansive quality to this wine from start to finish.
