Rosso All'Antica Reggiano Lambrusco Rosso Secco

Nose of raw beef just under plastic?!! It's such a weirdo I can't help but like it.

Dry and fabulously unorthodox.

Not much of a nose on this one, but it has nice, more-than-subtle strawberry notes with a little salinity (think the first greenhouse strawberries of the season at the farmers market). Drank this at sunset with my husband at the park in jelly jars, because that's what Lambrusco is made for, right!? Dry-dry with nice minerality--like some wet paver stones in the country--and really no tannin present. Very easy drinking; I'd pair this with light fare like salads or anything that's not too aromatic so as not to lose those subtle flavors.

Smells like three weeks on dead tour and tastes like boiled birkenstocks

Smells strangely like bananas, but I don’t mind it.

Great starter wine. Perfectly dry and fun.

Light and crisp with decent fruit. A good example of dry lambrusco. A good sipper to start the evening.
