Still drinking well, but hasn't headed anywhere particularly interesting. Have had much better results with some of the other vineyard designates.

15.1% alc.
2135 cases produced.

Holding up decently but probably provided more enjoyment in its earlier years.

2011. Needs time and air. Tight and hot the first night. Night two it was really nice. Loads of Chianti-esque gravel and spiced ripe berries. Broad and gravelly in the mouth. Clingy. The heat from night one was gone. Nice example of what the Sonoma Valley can do.

Still plenty of fruit, but also still very tannic. Strong alcohol heat. Muddled spicy stewed fruit. Not in a great place right now, but still fine to drink.

A single vineyard zin with oohs and aahs! Fennel, licorice, dark fruits that dont jam it up, and tannins that hold their own to keep things on the up and up. Outrageous mouthfeel and a finish that settles in for the long haul. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ -- Wineshout

Great with Chicken Parmesan on cold winter night in upstate NY - full body with well integrated tannins

From magnum, consumed over two nights. Superbly balanced, all elements in harmony, reminiscent of an aged CdP or Priorat. On day two, a slight bitter or smoky finish emerged, vanished after an hour of air. Overall: 9.7. Aged zin rules!

Plum, bing cherry, prune, raisinโ€”all with classic structure & finesse. From magnum, relished over two days. Who says Zinfandel canโ€™t age? The last single vineyard zin before the sale to Constellation.

Interesting and multi-layered. Fruity. Smooth despite the high 15.1% alc. for $11.95 itโ€™s a good deal.
