Great California Merlot...fruity, complex and a perfect complement to a great red meat dish.

Aroma has notes of smoked bacon and currant. The aftersmell (if that’s a word) is so similar to bacon. The body is surprisingly just medium with a dry and full afterfeel. Slightly bubbly which give it character as you drink but falls flat leaving you wanting more (not in a good way). Tasting notes of lemon, apple, and cherry. This wine feels like it knows how to party and get lit but also gets tired really quickly and has to go home early.
