2018 vintage. Drying green tannins in the finish make this virtually undrinkable. Tasted with 2 non-professional ladies who preferred to stick to tap water (as did I). I genuinely hope there was something wrong with the bottle.

2019 vintage. Looking for a cheap chicken Bordeaux to stock the pantry at the new place so picked up a bottle of this from Trader Joe’s at $7.99. Decent for the price. Okay nose. Best part about the wine is a big mid-palate presence full of earth, baking chocolate, cassis and herbs. Watery entry palate. Light-bodied paired with a fairly dry finish. A contender in the cheap chicken wars tho. Would pick up again.
