Il Rosso dell Donne Boca Nebbiolo Blend

A rustic and delicious Alto Piemonte Nebbiolo blend (apparently 70% Nebbiolo, 20% Vespolina, 10% Uva Rara, but nothing stated on the bottle). My Piemonte fans loved it, but not sure this would wow the masses. Similar to a Barbaresco, or Langhe Rosso, but higher-toned notes and tobacco/leather notes. Can't wait to try more from these gals.

Lean, mean and racy. Decanting helped round this one out.

Dried fall potpourri. Wish it had a little more fruit

Great saturated red color, wet granite, stone, mineral - hints of herbaceous spearmint, tar, roses - in a great place now and will improve for 5+? years.... Hard to find but I will find some....2009 vintage

Tasting better and better each time tried. Open and approachable. Great with roasted pork tonight
