2019 vintage. Médoc. Château Andron. 44 hectares, 68% merlot, 27% cabernet sauvignon and 5% petit verdot. Mechanical harvest. Bottled by the huge Maison Johanès Boubée. No oak, only stainless steel. Medium-bodied, fresh acidity, tannins a bit rough with separate bitter in the finish. Cheap Médoc for 4,95 euro, but there is great stuff at the price in more humble Bordeaux appellations.

Nicely understated and balanced wine. Surprisingly smooth and easy to drink right out of the bottle.

Good everyday wine. Balanced, bright. Mild tannins. Currents, dry plums. Not overly complex.

Rich Bordeaux our newly acquired weeknight wine from Zoe. Probably too full body for our veggie diet. Incorrectly paired with Lean squash dried shrimp and vermicelli but both still taste delicious

Excellent wine. Subtle notes but strong tannins at the end. Drinks more like a CA wine which I like.

Intensely floral nose, balanced tannins with some plummy fruitiness. Very drinkable.
